College Exams
All specialist examinations in Radiation Oncology are convened via the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA).
Specialisation in Radiation Oncology includes a minimum of 4 years of training in an accredited training post, successful completion of the Part 1 (Medical Physics, Radiobiology and Applied Anatomy) and Part 2 (Applied Basic Sciences and Clinical Oncology) examinations through the CMSA as well as completion of a university-based dissertation.
